Affiliations
Besides my primary role as the Associate Director at Doers, I am associated with various governmental and non-governmental organizations in different capacities. Some of my major affiliations are:
- Visiting faculty at the Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), Shimla for imparting training sessions on various topics pertaining to disaster risk management.
- Visiting faculty at the Panchayati Raj Training Institute (PRTI), Shimla for imparting training sessions on Community-based Disaster Preparedness and Response.
- Resource person for the Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (HPSDMA) and District Disaster Management Authorities (DDMAs) of different districts in the state.
- Co-convener and strategist at 'Swayam'- coalition of volunteers and voluntary organizations working in the area of disaster preparedness and response in the Indian Himalayan region.
